About us

SAMO (Savoie Alpes Machines Outils) is located in Haute Savoie, in the heart of Arve's Valley (20 km from Geneva) in France. The main activity of this Valley is screw machining industry. S.A.M.O's speciality is the trade of second hand machine tools (singlespindle lathes, multispindle lathes, barloaders, barfeeders, CNC lathes, Transfer Machines, Grinding Machines, Drilling Machines…) for screw cutting industry and mechanic.

On 5 000m², SAMO propose an important stock of second-hand machine tools of all type of brand (Multi spindle Lathes TORNOS, WICKMAN, GILDEMEISTER, PITTLER, SCHUTTE, INDEX, CNC lathes OKUMA, NAKAMURA, MORI SEIKI, BIGLIA, TRAUB, CITIZEN…) sold in state, serviced, or rebuilt, but all put in the new safety standards.

S.A.M.O, is specialized in rebuilding single spindle automatic lathes or multi spindle lathes (TORNOS, WICKMAN, GILDEMEISTER, PITTLER, SHUTTE, INDEX…), centerless grinding machines (ROSSI, LIDKOPING…) and all other specific lathes of all brands.

We can propose you different options such as:

  • New or second hand spare parts for single spindle lathes MANURHIN, or multi spindle lathes WICKMAN
  • Attachments and specific equipments (pick-up, threading attachment…)
  • Axis digitalisation (speed variation , CNC slide, CNC pick up)
